Spiral screw press

The spiral screw press consists of a shaftless spiral screw that conveys materials into a pressing zone for compaction and dewatering.

The spiral screw applies pressure inside the pressing zone, which is enclosed in a wire basket. The material is held at the end by a press door, using weights, spring hinges or cylinders.

The presses are installed with an incline and have a drainage area for the water that is extracted.
